Sebastián Cortés currently holds the position of Sustainability Manager and has worked in the Tres Valles project since 2012. In addition to this role, he presides over the board of the Tres Valles Foundation.
With over 10 years of experience in the field of sustainability, he has worked as an environmental evaluator and auditor in the National Forest Corporation of Chile (CONAF). He was also employed as an administrator at the Las Chinchillas National reserve where he concentrated his efforts on the conservation of this native species that is at risk of extinction. He is currently on the board of the Coquimbo Corporation of Miners (CORMINCO) and the representative of Minera Tres Valles for the National Mining Society (SONAMI).
Forest Engineer from the University of Chile with studies in Environmental Management and Community Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
