TRES VALLES WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS TO THE JOINT
COMMITTEE ON HYGIENE AND SAFETY FOR THE PERIOD 2015-2017


On Tuesday October 27th, Tres Valles welcomed a new Joint Committee on Hygiene and Safety that was elected by the staff of the company during a vote held from October 9th to the 23rd.


At a breakfast to welcome new members and say farewell to those from the previous two years, in the spirit of camaraderie attendees discussed the former management of the committee and the changing of the joint team officially took place.


With a large majority of the votes, employees Nicoleth Lanas, Rosa Maturana and Camila Cortés were named as official members, while César Guerrero, Karla Villarroel and Rubén Rodríguez, assumed the roles as alternate members of the committee.


Rosa Maturana commented on her new role: “I appreciate the great support and trust that people have placed in us. For me, the experience from the previous period gives me a platform to continue building on in order to develop projects that aim to represent and resolve the safety needs of our colleagues. We are always looking to improve their working conditions. One of the major objectives we have is to maintain the target of zero accidents.”


Camila Cortés: “I have a great desire to learn and I trust my colleagues, who have experience in both the management of the committee and in the field of security, to guide me and to provide support on the initiatives in which the joint committee should participate.”


Sebastian Cortés, Superintendent of Sustainability & Communications, added: “This new committee has a key role in supporting and assisting the assimilation of changes in our company and training the workers, especially those who are new, in health & security.
