STUDENTS FROM MULTIDISCIPLINARY PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL OF SALAMANCA
ATTENDED PRESENTATION HELD BY
MINERA TRES VALLES PROFESSIONALS

Since March 2018, Salamanca’s Public High School has added two new mid level technical careers in humanities and science, transforming it into the first multidisciplinary public school of the county.

This technical-professional modality offers the disciplines of nursing and electronics to students, whose objective is to reach the needs of Salamanca’s citizens through the further training and development of new knowledge and skills.

Minera Tres Valles, under the common goal of working toward strengthening the mid level technical-professional education of the Choapa province, has organized collaborative work efforts with the Multidisciplinary Public High School of Salamanca. These intend to bring students into the working world, promoting the growth of their abilities and vocational aptitudes.

On Tuesday, October 2nd, third year students from the electronics specialty where visited by three professionals from the Tres Valles Plant. In this occasion, the pupils learned about the company’s production process. For Ricardo Vergara, the Plant Superintendent at Minera Tres Valles, “The fact of being able to share my journey and professional experience with the students has been a very rewarding and satisfying task.  Forming relationships between companies and students, in this case via secondary education, is very important because students are able to imagine what their paths could look like, understanding that it is a hard task, but not impossible.”
