MINERA TRES VALLES  COVID-19 VACCINATION PROGRAM REACHES 75% OF TOTAL WORKFORCE

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Minera Tres Valles’ main objectives have been to protect the health of its direct employees and contractors (together, the “workers”) while also aiming to ensure operational continuity of the Company.

In order to achieve this, starting on March 31, 2021, there have been numerous occasions where vaccinations have been carried out on site, which to date total 458 workers who have received both doses of the Covid-19 vaccination, or 75% of the total workforce.

“This activity has been well received by our team. We all know that prevention and self-care are the keys to ensuring our health and that of our family. For this reason, at Minera Tres Valles, we have implemented different campaigns that highlight the incentives of getting vaccinated and taking the necessary protocols to stay healthy”, stated Luis Vega, CEO de Minera Tres Valles.

This internal vaccination program has been carried out in conjunction with the Ministry of Mining, Ministry of Health and the Regional Mining Secretary of Coquimbo, entities that have collaborated to facilitate these projects and accelerate the rates of vaccination in the region.

“We are targeting 100% vaccination of our workers with both doses, which we hope to achieve very soon; we will continue working tirelessly toward this goal”, Luis Vega added.
